METRA Building starts the second step that completes the cycle foreseen for the marketing of the new POLIEDRA SKY TECH 50/60 series.

Starting from today's date, the current mullions and transoms will no longer be managed in the Logistics Centre reorders, therefore the current profiles will remain available until stocks run out and then replaced by the profiles of the new Poliedra Sky Tech 50/60 series.

The ongoing transformation is guaranteed by the technical compatibility of the two systems: it is possible to use the old transoms on the new uprights and vice versa.

Fixing can be done through the use of the spring bolt, which is the same item in both series, or alternatively with traditional u-bolts and slides.

In the latter case, it is the code of the transom that determines which U-bolts and slides to use; old and new U-bolts are different:

  • OLD TRANSOM AND NEW MULLION: the old U-bolts must be used

  • NEW TRANSOM AND OLD MULLION: the new U-bolts must be used

Below are the data sheets with the codes of the old and new mullion and transom profiles, as well as the link to access the reserved area with all the new documentation.

The POLIEDRA SKY TECH 50 IV Level system has been introduced into the "curtain wall" family.

A new technical solution allows the 45° assembly of the mullions of the new Poliedra Sky Tech 50 curtain walling system.

The fixing to the masonry of the new 4th level is done in the same way as for traditional windows and doors, while the assembly of the glass retains the same concept of the curtain wall.
